Hi Gail,
Thanks for the tip on painting the Wallis paper with watercolour before you start your pastel painting. It was very helpful!
I just subscribed today and from what I see (on your How to Pastel channel) already I can’t wait for more tips and information about pastel painting.

This little scene is next to a gas station and could be anywhere, which is probably why I like it. Funny, but at the time I painted it, I had no idea that in a few years I would build a house a couple streets from here.
